‘I love you baby’ - Sheilah Gashumba's soul-stirring message to Abryanz

Abryanz, real name Brian Ahumuza, hosted Kampala socialites, fashion gurus, musicians and other classes of celebs for the Abryanz Kampala Style Brunch, which was also organised to mark his birthday and 10 years of running his fashion house.

Gashumba, who is Abryanz's longtime friend, said: "It's not easy first of all to grow what they call a brand. There are like so many names and so many shops or companies or whatever, but to grow a solid brand Jan. after Jan. is crazy, it's incredible.

"It's being strong. It's being bold. It's also knowing that the ups and downs and I want to celebrate Abryanz tonight for first of all inspiring. Thank you for being a great leader. Thank you for being a great friend. Thank you for being a person; you know, it's easy... we all live to inspire... I wanna say happy birthday to Abryanz and I want to congratulate you for 10 years. I know it's not easy but I want you to also know that you are an amazing person and I love you so much, baby."

Abryanz, who was born on November 1, 1990, runs Abryanz Collection Store, which is located at Garden City Shopping Mall in Kampala and organises the Abryanz style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs), a highly regarded fashion event on the continent.

A media personality, Sheilah Gashumba is also a notable figure in the fashion world. On February 6, she launched Gash Luxe – a shopping lounge, makeup & content studio, and mini-bar located at Clement Hill in Kampala.
