The much-anticipated East African Procurement and Business Expo which was slated to take place between 23 to 26 March has been postponed to a date yet to be communicated by the organisers, Fathil International Projects (FIPRO).

This was revealed in a statement issued by FIPRO on Tuesday, March 21.

FIPRO cited the unavailability of the venue, Kololo Independence Grounds, as one of the reasons for the postponement following communication from Government of Uganda that an important Government event would take place at the venue during the same period.

We would like to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the venue for the East African Procurement Forum and Business Expo has become unavailable. Two days ago we were informed that the government of Uganda has another important function set to happen at Kololo Ground on March 23-24, 2023,” the statement read in part.

We want to thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We look forward to welcoming you to the rescheduled event and providing a valuable experience for all participants.”
