A major highlight of the day was the vibrant performance by the Kampala Jazz Orchestra, who set the mood for the event with a three-hour set of soulful jazz. Dressed elegantly in all-white, they captivated the audience with their flawless tunes, encouraging everyone to sing along. The atmosphere was electric, with revellers dancing, mingling, and fully immersing themselves in the spirited energy. Generous cocktail jugs adorned each table, complementing the musical celebration.

As the day progressed, the party vibes intensified, with waitresses offering tequila shots to keep spirits high. Later in the evening, popular host Sheila Salta kept the energy alive with her infectious hyping, setting the stage for Selector Jay’s playlist, which effortlessly transitioned from the jazz rhythms to more upbeat tunes, encouraging guests to dance.

Even latecomers had their fill of the brunch delicacies, which included cakes, sweet treats, and an array of savoury dishes. As the event rolled into the evening, Melvyn DJ and DJ Anselm took over the decks, keeping the party alive while some guests also enjoyed watching the Premier League on the big screens.

The next edition of the Daycation Brunch is scheduled for Sunday, October 27, and each event promises to be even bigger and better than the last.
