The deceased, identified as Kevin Omwenga, was a Chemistry and Mathematics teacher at Nyamira Boys Secondary School in Nyamira, Kenya, according to Area Assistant Chief Johnson Manyara.

Citizen Digital reported that colleagues revealed Omwenga, an avid player of the Aviator betting game, was deeply in debt, having borrowed approximately Ksh50,000 ($380) from fellow teachers, most of which he allegedly lost playing the game.

Manyara mentioned that Omwenga had borrowed a substantial amount of money but lost most of it on the Aviator game.

Nyamira Boys School principal George Onkundi noted that Omwenga was last seen near the school on Wednesday but did not report to work.

Although not yet employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), he had been teaching under the Board of Management (BOM) for the past four years. The principal stated that Omwenga did not show any signs of stress.

Concern arose when calls to Omwenga's phone went unanswered on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, prompting some teachers to visit his house to check on him.

After repeatedly knocking on the door, the teachers peered through a window and discovered Omwenga's body hanging.

Police and the area assistant chief were subsequently called to the scene.

Omwenga's wife and their one-year-old child were visiting his sick mother in the village at the time of the incident. The body was taken to Nyamira Referral Hospital.

Speaking to the media in Accra, Dr. Amponsah-Achiano stated that the Ghana Health Service will initiate a vaccination campaign starting on Sunday, May 5, 2024, aimed at curbing the spread of the virus.

"In the past week or so, we were recording some significant numbers up to about 30 or 31 or so. But this is not unexpected. As we have already been saying, COVID has come to stay with us.

"It is part of us. And so from time to time and that is why we also haven't given up on vaccination and so if you are aware, from 5th to 9th May, we are going to do another exercise of COVID vaccination.

"So we are doing the national COVID-19 vaccination exercise as part of our strategies to reduce COVID to the barest minimum."

The Health Service (GHS) said it has also initiated a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign in response to increasing infections across healthcare facilities.

Scheduled to run from May 4 to May 10, 2024, the vaccination drive aims to mitigate the surge in cases, particularly in Greater Accra, where the highest numbers have been reported.

Highlighting the virus's rapid transmission, the Ghana Health Service emphasizes strict adherence to safety protocols.

Dr. Franklin Asiedu-Bekoe, Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, emphasized the importance of widespread vaccination to curb the virus's spread and encouraged all Ghanaians to actively participate in the campaign during a media briefing.

He said "We are getting a few cases reported in parts of Accra and a few other regions. And it brings to bear the fact that Ghanaians need to be vaccinated and so on the 4th to the 10th of May, we are going to do a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign and we want to urge all Ghanaians to be part of the exercise.

The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has reported that over 168,000 married women cheat on their husbands.

According to&nbsp;the 2022 Ghana Demographic and Health Survey from the GSS,&nbsp;3.8% of married women in Ghana have had an extramarital affair.

Only 0.9% of married women reported having two or more partners. Among divorced/separated/widowed women in Ghana, 4.0% have multiple partners, and 46.6% have engaged in sexual intercourse outside of marriage or cohabitation.

Additionally, 3.5% of women aged 15-24 have multiple partners, while 46.1% have had sexual encounters with individuals not their husbands or cohabitants.

However, the report indicated that&nbsp;17.5% of married Ghanaian men engage in extramarital relationships.

It said&nbsp;out of every 10 have two or more partners outside of their marital union.

A startling revelation from the survey is that 17.5% of married Ghanaian men engage in extramarital relationships.

This translates to about two out of every ten married men having more than one sexual partner outside their marriage.

The data further breaks down to show that 18.4% of these married men have been sexually active with individuals other than their spouses.

The prevalence of multiple sexual partners isn’t limited to married men; it extends to 18.7% among those who are divorced, separated, or widowed, with a significant 69.9% admitting to sexual intercourse outside marriage.

It is true that some married women may engage in extramarital affairs.&nbsp;
