Saha admitted on Wednesday that he has silently amassed a lot of land in the community tacked away from the city centre, where he also built a mega-mansion.

The “Ebisera Ebyo” singer, born Mansour Ssemanda is reported to own several acres in many parts of the parish, where he has also shut down some of the community access roads near his home for security purposes.

He uses his land to grow food crops, mostly cassava and sweet potatoes.

“We got a chance and came to this side when the (land) prices were still low and we bought as much as we could,” he said.

“Right now more people have come and it is much more expensive, but back then it wasn’t.”

Saha says he bought his first plot of land in the place where he built his home, around 2015. He started construction of his two-storied mansion in 2017 and finished it last year.

The house, he says, has a total of 8 bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool.

“I built the pool inside so that when it is nighttime and I don’t wish to go outside, I can just go sit on the poolside and hang out,” he said.

“I love my peace and quiet, that is why I came all the way this side to be by myself."

Saha also enjoys hanging around and chatting with his security guards and members of his community in his free time.
