"She also supported me," said Diana in a media interview. "She bought a table and came and enjoyed my show yet she rarely goes to shows. So, it made me happy I was like, I will also be there for her because she was also there for me. And she asked me to go and sing for her in Masaka, and I was like, it's fine."

Rema Namakula's concert was held on Friday, February 23 at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel. Spice Diana also accompanied her when she went to Masaka for an extra show.

Spice Diana, born Hajara Namukwaya, first came into the limelight as an actress with Equator Production in Luzira. It's this same group that produced the video for her breakout hit "Onsanula," a song she penned herself and was produced by the talented Dr. Fizo. Diana has openly shared that "Onsanula" holds a special place in her heart, ranking it among her top four favorite tracks alongside "Koona" (a hit collaboration with Pallaso), "Ndi Mu Love" (penned by King Saha), and "Siri Regular" (crafted by Nince Henry).

During her senior five, Diana collaborated with the Ghetto Kids, even writing a song for them. It was through this engagement that Dauda introduced her to the recording studio, leading to her debut single "Nze Akwagala." Starting her music journey at 16, while attending Kampala Citizens College, Diana was motivated to pursue music in an environment where passion for the art thrived.

Her path in music was further paved by connections with Dr. Fizo of Avie Records, facilitated by artists Maro and Geosteady. To promote her music, Diana often transitioned from school to the club scene, performing nightly at popular spots like Wallet Pub, Mona Lisa, Silk, and High Table, a hustle she kept up for two years.

Despite her initial shyness, Diana's ambition saw her balancing her rising music career with academic pursuits in Industrial Art at Makerere University. Even with tempting offers for international gigs in Dubai and the U.K., she remained committed to her studies.

Her collaboration with Pallaso on the club hit "Koona" in 2015 under Avie Records marked a significant milestone. However, her journey took her to Twinkle Star Management with Emma Carlos, previously Khalifa Aganaga's manager, before eventually teaming up with her current manager, Roger, after his split from Ziza Bafana. Before Roger, Diana was briefly managed by Humble Management.
