According to Kats, he and Fille had been together for 10 years before they eventually broke up.
Their breakup was made public in 2019.
But they had sired a daughter named Abigail Farica Bwiza Kisakye. She has kept them together despite not being romantically involved anymore.
In interviews, Fille Mutoni has said she's okay with the ups and downs in their relationship because it'll never be 100%.

But she's praised him for being a responsible co-parent.
When they broke up, Mutoni accused her baby daddy of infidelity, disrespect and domestic violence.
It was also in 2019 that Kats publicly declared that he was H.I.V. positive. He didn't inform her prior, and she treated it as a betrayal.
While still together, according to Kats, Mutoni traveled to Rwanda and also took some time off to undergo rehab.
This seems to have left Kats lonely.
"Fille went to Rwanda for about eight months. Then she went into rehab for another nine months... I am also a person. I'm not an animal," said Kats in an interview a while back.
"God created me to be happy. If he takes that away, I'll move on to other things... And God wants me to share the happiness with others."
It is during this time that MC Kats met media personality Caroline Marcah.
According to Kats, she saved him from the worst.
"I was almost gonna die and Carol picked me up. That's the truth... Carol found me after I had just had issues with Fille, so I respect Carol for that," MC Kats said. "For life."
Kats and Marcah have been close for about four years but they've never publicly confirmed that they are romantically involved.
In an interview, March was told: There are two questions people really want answers to.
Marcah: Which ones?
Interviewer: That these days you're moving out with MC Kats?
Marcah: Moving out where? We always move out!
Interviewer: That you and MC Kats love each other?
Marcah: Don't I love you?
Interviewer: I mean love in the bed!
Marcah: You mean all along love is in the bed?
Interviewer: That you and MC Kats are sexually involved?
Marcah: Mmm... That's not bad!... It's not going anywhere... Everyone and their 'animal'... It doesn't matter who eats... I've people... There is also people I'm eating.
Interviewer: Did Kats eat you?
Marcah: [Pauses for a few seconds and laughs]
