Nwagi, who was speaking to Galaxy FM, said Namakula is a graceful singer and that's what exactly concertgoers should expect come February.

"You know her, she does everything gracefully... the vocals, the melodies; just as she named the concert 'melodies of love'," said Nwagi.

Turning to Lydia Jazmine, she said: "The vocals, you know... I expect her to sing, like sing...!" She said she expects a lot of energy from her since it's her maiden concert.

While Nwagi is known for her straightforwardness, she couldn't have said it any better about the two songstresses because they both have some of the discographies in the country.

Meanwhile, Eddy Kenzo also noted that he is ready to perform at his baby mama's concert once he gets the invite.

Though he has yet to secure the invitation, Kenzo rallied Ugandans to support Rema Namakula because she is a good performer with good music.

"People should come and support her because she's a good musician, she deserves it. She deserves the best," said Kenzo who added: "if God allows", when he was asked if he'll attend.

"She is a good singer. She is a great artiste and when you go there, you will have fun... It's gonna be amazing because she's the best," continued Kenzo, who also said: "When they allow me to," when he was asked if he'd perform at the concert.

Rema Namakula will hold her concert on February 23, 2024, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.

Rema and Kenzo were together for some six years and their breakup became public in 2019. In a recent interview, Rema said the public came to know about it two years after splitting.

"Most of you didn't know about [the breakup] because people around me protect my secrets," said Rema.

"And it wasn't just one year... it was about like two years..."

The Ngonze hitmaker moved in with Kenzo around 2013 when she severed ties with her former boss and music manager Bebe Cool.

Kenzo sired with her a daughter named Aamal Musuuza.

Another concert that is coming up is that of Lydia Jazmine slated for March 1, 2024.

Davido, Rema Namakula, Fik Fameica, former Blu*3 band members (Lilian Mbabazi, Cindy Sanyu & Jackie Chandiru), and Lydia Jazmine will all hold concerts before the end of March.

The last to be announced was Davido's Kampala concert dubbed Timeless which will be held on March 29.

The venue of the show, which is sponsored by Fenon Records, NTV Uganda, and NRG Radio, is yet to be announced.

Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru, and Lilian Mbabazi revealed they will hold a joint concert on Women's Day, March 8, 2024, at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
