"Love things are complicated," said Kisti when she was asked why she rekindled romance with Mark Asiimwe during a media interview, "you shame each other, rekindle romance, that's how love is. You fight and get back together. You forgive each other.

"Let me call it toxic [laughs]. Relationships are toxic. You can't stay away from the toxicity."

Kisti, real name Robinah Nambooze, said she is set to write a book that will serve as a manual to her future lovers.

"I'm going to write a book showing what [I] want. Any man who loves me will have to first read the book because I've really failed," she said.

Robin Kisti said she has tried everything but men are always failing her.

The media personality revealed she had gotten back with her ex-lover Mark Asiimwe in April.

Kisti shared a video kissing Asiimwe and captioned it: "I do what makes me happy, so let me eat my boy in peace [two smiling face emojis]."

Kisti was responding to a fan who seemed to question her preference for men younger than her.

She recently said she prefers younger men because she is an alpha female. In relationship/dating speak, alpha refers to a person with assertive and dominant traits.

"I won't deny it, I like younger men," said Kisti who last year split from her fiance that is about six years her junior.

"Not because I want to lead them, but because every woman needs a man. But like I said, I'm an alpha female. So, of course, you want young blood. When a man is above 18, he is not young anymore."

Robin Kisti announced the end of her romance with Mark Asiimwe in October 22.

They introduced each other to their parents in November 2021 and they had planned to get married last year.

At the end of their relationship, Asiimwe said she had stopped listening to him though he claimed the age difference wasn't an issue.

"It's not about age... a person just changes. When you are a good person, some people take your kindness for weakness. That woman couldn't listen to whatever I was saying,... she even abuses you when you try to advise her," he said.

Despite calling herself Alpha, Asiimwe said he was the one taking most of the family's financial burden.

"Even the business she's involved in now, I gave her startup capital. I don't want to explain myself a lot, I have done a lot for her. Honestly, speaking, if I was,... you can't stay with a single mother of three children, without a job and you don't give her money?" he said.

"The rentals from which she collects Shs450,000, I make that in one day, and she wanted to be like me to spend it in a day. So, that's her other problem, competition... I'm not saying she is a bad person, she won't show you love, but love that's selfish... if, say, you don't come home early, she'll abuse you or make the home climate unbearable."

Kisti joins the likes of Zari Hassan that have been forced to explain themselves to social media because of their dating choices.
