Omar Lali, the Lamu-based fisherman who rose to fame over his unconventional relationship with Keroche heiress Tecra Muigai, has now opened up on the troubles his love for the deceased brought him.

Omar revealed that the romantic relationship was initiated by Tecra after she spotted him at a restaurant in Lamu.

"I had gone to dinner with my daughter who had not been to Kenya in many years. Tecra was at the restaurant with a friend who I happened to know. I said hello to my friend but when I got home my friend called me saying Tecra was asking around for the guy with the grey beard.

"That night we stayed late as we talked about life. I took her to her room at around 2am and she told me not to leave because she felt at peace being with me. We spent the night together and that is how our love started," he narrated.

Omar, however, admitted that the relationship was heavily fought by Tecra's wealthy family - particularly her mother - Keroche CEO Tabitha Karanja.

"When Tecra took me to her family, they didn't want to hear anything about me. Her mother told me there is no way her daughter was going to live with an Alshabab terrorist. But I have since forgiven her since she is old school she probably didn't mean it. At one point she came home with a convoy of six cars and I decided to escape because I was afraid of the people she was bringing," the 51-year old recalled.

He added that the feud was finally resolved through the intervention of Tecra's brother, James Muigai who convinced their father, Joseph Karanja, to bless the union between the unconventional lovers.

"Mzee blessed us and the feud stopped. We toured the world and I was able to teach her to overcome her fears. The only thing, regrettably, that I failed to teach her was regulation of alcohol intake. She used to drink a lot and I pleaded with her to only drink after sunset but she would respond by telling that her family was in the alcohol business and drinking was their tradition which I must respect as she respected mine," Omar said.

The veteran fisherman said he would spend most of the day looking after the Keroche heiress until that fateful night when she fell down the stairs when her boyfriend had already blacked out.

"That day I had taken some antibiotics for my tooth which had an infection. She pressured me to drink but I only took a few drinks and blacked out. I was awoken by the sound of a thud and when I work up, I realized she had fallen down the sharp staircase on her way to the washroom," he recalled.

Tecra died a few days after the fall with Omar spending several days in police custody before the DPP dropped murder charges against him.

Prezzo talks about depression and joining Mungiki

Veteran&nbsp;Rapper Jackson Makini Ng’echu aka Prezzo&nbsp;has shared a little known details about his life, disclosing that there is a time he was depressed and forced to stay indoors for a whole year and later on joined Mungiki under the leadership of Maina Njenga.

Speaking to CTA, CMB Prezzo said that after his wedding with Daisy (Mama Zari) in 2008, he had tough choices to make because his then wife loved Nge’chu but hated Prezzo.

He further explained that, a few years into the marriage he had to choose music over his wife and moved out, but his life started moving downhill, as he slowly fell into depression.

“At that time Daisy Mama Zari, loved Ng’echu but hated Prezzo and wanted me to stop doing music and probably be an accountant or a teacher somewhere, a carpenter…anything but not music. And I was like I spent so much time building this brand and I’m not gonna just leave it like that. So from that point on wards, I left them with that Mansion that I was living in and I took another penthouse. So for also most a year I lost myself. For one year, I used to have my bodyguard bringing me food, bringing me whatever I need in the house, I never left the house for a whole year. I was like I was in a house arrest and slowly getting into depression,”&nbsp;says Prezzo.

A year later, Prezzo got an invite to meet with Maina Njenga&nbsp;and given a chance to join Mungiki as Youth leader and he said yes to the offer.

“So we went to Karen and Maina Njenga had this movement and he needed me to be like Youth leader of the Mungikis and who am I to say No. So he gave me responsibilities and I was in the whole Nine years,”&nbsp;posed Prezzo.

DJ Evolve discharged from Hospital

A video believed to be that of&nbsp;Felix Orinda aka DJ Evolve&nbsp;being discharged from Hospital has surfaced online.

A one minute clip that was first shared on Instagram by a local blog, showed Evolve lying on a bed inside an Ambulance ready to be taken home.

Reports said that Evolve will continue recuperating at home, despite the fact that he is still unable to walk on his own.

Currently, he is able to talk but in low tones and the Hospital also provided him with an adjustable bed to aid him in his recovery journey while at Home.

This comes a few days after DJ Evolve’s employer B-club&nbsp;sought to clarify that the Disk Jockey was still admitted in hospital, after their Instagram post caused confusion, leading to a number of publications to report that he had been discharged.

B-Club explained that their post was meant to keep Evolves career relevant and remind his fans that he is still fighting on.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz’s mother Mama Dangote was forced to explain herself after referring to Diamond and Tanasha Donna’s son Naseeb Junior as&nbsp;Kichwa Kikubwa.

Mama Dangote made the remarks after her daughter Esma Platnumz shared Junior’s photo which she captioned with&nbsp;words saying that she misses him.

“I miss you Tom Kaka 😘😍,” wrote Esma, to which Mama Dangote responded with the words, “KICHWA KIKUBWA.”

Her words did not settle well with some of her followers who felt she was abusing an innocent kid because of differences she has with the mother (Tanasha Donna).

Nero Company CEO Anerlisa Muigai has opened up on the last picture her late sister Tecra Muigai took of her barely two days after she was buried at their home in Naivasha.

An emotional Anerlisa said that after she had taken the picture, Tecra asked her to post it but she said <a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/anerlisa-muigais-sunday-morning-message-following-sisters-burial/f5wl4sz">it was not of Instagram Standard.</a>

According to her, the picture is now more valuable than any she has ever posted on her Instagram page.

Tecra Muigai was buried on Saturday in a private ceremony attended by close family members and friends.

Some of the people who attended the event held in Naivasha included; Raila Odinga, his wife Ida, Laikipia Governor Lee Kinyanjui, Moses Wetangula, Senator James Orengo, and, Classic FM’s Maina Kageni who was the MC.

Tecra died while with her boyfriend and the circumstances leading to her death are still under investigation.

Tecra’s postmortem

Until her death on May 2nd 2020 at the Nairobi Hospital, Tecra was the Strategy and innovations Director at Keroche Breweries.

On May 5th, 2020, Tecra’s postmortem was postponed for a second time with government pathologist Johansen Oduor explaining that police investigators needed more time before the autopsy was conducted.

"The postmortem has been postponed to a later date. This is to enable detectives look at some facts. The date has however not been fixed,"&nbsp;he stated.

Police launched investigations into the death of Keroche heiress, Tecra Muigai.

Reports by the Daily Nation indicated that Tecra died while at her boyfriend's house in Lamu.

The boyfriend identified as Omar Lali is being held by police as they seek answers in the troubling incident.

Lali is alleged to have given contradicting accounts of what really transpired on the night she died.

The Standard had reported that Tecra may have died after falling from the balcony.

According to the paper, Tecra was admitted to a Nairobi hospital where she succumbed to injuries sustained after the fall.

Her death was announced by Keroche Breweries where she worked as the Strategy and Innovation Director.

“The Board of Directors and Management of Keroche Breweries is deeply saddened to inform that Tecra Muigai Karanja passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 afternoon following a tragic accident,” said part of the statement.

“Tecra’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of important innovations that have enriched the company’s product range including the development of new brands that were scheduled to be launched this year,” added Keroche.

A thankful Ms Muigai also appreciated her singer fiancée for bringing her closer to God and teaching her to see positivity in every situation.

South Africa based Ugandan socialite and business woman Zari Hassan, is one of the victims of this malicious act.

Last year in September, her Instagram account was hacked amidst her daughter’s birthday celebration, at 4.2 million followers. The hackers changed Zari’s bio and added a link demanding Sh400, 0000 to give back her account.

The hacker went ahead to share photos of Hamisa Mobetto and her daughter and those of her estranged baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz. They also uploaded pornographic images, which were later on deleted.

In 2017, the socialite’s Instagram account was hacked at 640,000 followers. The bootylicious entrepreneur blamed her ex-Nigerian lover Yommy Johnson, for hacking the account saying he was an evil and selfish guy who was jealous of her money.

The hacker deleted all her photos and kept changing the user name every few hours.

Ladasha wambo, the daughter to DJ Mo and size 8, has also been a victim of hacking. Ladasha’s Instagram account was hacked at 300k followers. it was later been regained.
