He is, however, honest with himself about his musical skills, so he figured out a way to help those who have the talent to optimise execution.
The door into his current work opened when he offered to volunteer as a young publicist-cum-diehard for celebrated songstress Iryn Namubiru.
He was a university student and a huge fan of the diva who had just returned from France.
"I was a fan,” he said in a conversation with this reporter, “I'm still a fan."
For a volunteer, Bryan was committed to serving Namubiru. He moved around promoting her music albums, pitched her songs to deejays, rallied her fanbase and represented her at events.
Bryan says he can't trace the specific time he became who he is because as long as he can remember, he has always wanted to help people.
"... it's passion; growing up I've always wanted to assist people... and my passion has always been music and literature," he said.
Bryan doesn't only work with singers -- his footprint extends to socialites, media personalities, business people, political figures, name it.
His company, Bryan Morel Publications, was started in 2021. The services offered include branding, content marketing, social media management, executive assistance, profiling, Wikipedia entries, editorial & publications, website management, media pitches, digital influencer marketing, recognition and award pitches.
While he was just a fan supporting Iryn Namubiru's management, his association with the singer brought in more connections.
It was while working with the 'Birowoozo' hitmaker that Bryan got an opportunity to represent her at the 2014 Women's Day Airtel-sponsored concert that was headlined by Jamaican star Nyanda in 2014.
During the show, he met Jackie Chandiru who would become one of his first paid clients.
"I had never seen anything like it," Bryan said of Chandiru's performance at that 2014 concert. "I was blown away by her energy and stage science with songs like 'Don't Call his Phone', 'Irringwa', 'Agassi' and 'Overdose'."
Chandiru hired him as a personal assistant, handling most of her day-to-day planning, including scheduling hospital and family visits, planning media interviews and shortlisting phone calls.
He continues to do similar work for some of the celebs he works with today.
While praising him for his role in winning the Fashion Influencer of the Year during the 2023 Pulse Influencer Awards, Sheilah Gashumba dubbed him her personal assistant.
"A special appreciation to those that voted and to my personal assistant @bryanmorel_PR
❤️," she tweeted.
After Chandiru, he did indistinguishable work for singers Nick Nola and Qute Kaye before meeting Angella Katatumba to whom he took his A-game.
"Angella, I think,” he said, “is one of the people who showed me genuine love and taught me a lot."
He was appointed the promotions manager for the Angella Katatumba Development Foundation.
They implemented a number of projects, including Mulago Yaffe, a campaign that sought to support the Uganda Cancer Institute at Mulago Hospital.
He was the coordinator for the Katatumba-headlined Mulago Yaffe Concert held at Kampala Serena Hotel on July 1, 2016. The proceeds were used to buy a phototherapy machine and a syringe pump for the hospital.
The Foundation also teamed with the diplomatic corps for a black tie dinner held at Kampala Serena Hotel in November 2016 and graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta to raise more funds for the cancer institute.
Following these successful events, Angella Katatumba was invited by then-United Nations Secretary-General Ban-Ki Moon for the first-ever UN humanitarian summit in Istanbul, Turkey.
Bryan helped Angella coordinate media to cover event proceedings.

One of the toughest moments in his career came in 2013 when Jackie Chandiru left the country with her then-husband who was Dutch and he was left jobless.
His family wanted him to quit, and it was time to prove that he could make a career of what he was doing. She eventually came back and everything went back to normal.
