The former Blu*3 has been accused by her landlord of defaulting her rent for the past 17 months.
The landlord identified as Sitran Deshpande says the singer took up his bungalow for renting in February 2018 at a monthly rate of Shs 1.5 million.
He says, however, that since 2021, Mbabazi has not been paying her rent.
“My complaint is that she’s not been paying rent…the last rent we received was in 2021 April. After that, she has been promising but she never appears,” the landlord revealed while speaking to Urban TV.

Counsel Sufian Kasirye, the landlord’s lawyer says in spite of several demand notices, the singer has declined to pay or vacate the house, and that they have now decided to involve the police in the matter.
“We have tried to be lenient but failed,” said Kasirye.
In a recorded phone conversation with the lawyer, Mbabazi can be heard asking for more time to remove her belongings from the house.
She claims to have been away from the city and commits to moving her belongings once she's back by Thursday this week.
Mbabazi admits having been overwhelmed by the accumulated rent but promises to make payments through one Mr Egesa.
The singer is now expected tomorrow, Thursday, September 28 to report to the Police in Konge to facilitate the eviction process.
Who is Lilian Mbabazi?
She grew up in Wandegeya, a trading hub in Kampala. Her parents who are of Rwandan descent migrated to Uganda in 1959 during the war.

She went to Buganda Road Primary School, and after P.7, she went to Kigali and studied there two years, living with her mother.
Mbabazi started singing at a young age and her mom returned her to Uganda after she escaped and sang at an event that would be shown on TV.
On returning to Kampala, she went to St. Peters S.S.S. Nsambya and completed O-Level from St. Lawrence and joined Kabojja International School for A-Level.
Mbabazi began performing professionally in 2003, after the Coca-Cola Pop Star competitions that led to the formation of Blu*3.
