Over the weekend, President Uhuru Kenyatta gifted AFC Leopards a brand new Bus, fulfilling a promise he made to the club during the burial ceremony of the late Joe Kadenge.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Kenyatta commended Kenyan sportsmen and women for being good role models to the youth. The bus was donated to the club by Dr Nelson Sechere, an international fundraising expert.
The Kenya Premier League side (AFC Leopards) was at State House in an event that was graced by CS Amina Mohamed, CS Eugene Wamalwa and their team Patron MP Tim Wanyonyi.
Role models to the youth

Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa also thanked the President saying “I wish to thank H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta for presenting a brand new ultra modern bus to @AFCLeopardsc @StateHouseKenya as promised last year at the late Joe Kadenge's funeral”.
On Saturday, President Kenyatta, ODM leader Raila Odinga, CS Amina Mohamed and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi attended the Mashemeji Derby at Kasarani Stadium where AFC leopards lost 1 nil to Gor Mahia.
