The aggrieved parties have filed a complaint before Principal Judge Flavian Zeija, alleging a series of irregularities that have put their prime properties on the line.

The complaint, filed by the lawyers of Muwema and Co Advocates outlines a convoluted history of the case.

At the heart of the matter is a disputed loan of USD 3.8 million plus UGX 3 billion, claimed by dfcu Bank as a successor in title to Crane Bank Limited.

The loan, allegedly issued in 2014, has sparked a contentious legal battle that has left WS MP Electronics and New Master Electronics teetering on the brink of losing their valuable properties.

According to the statement, the clients are baffled by the High Court's refusal to grant them the right to be heard regarding the unproved disbursement and utilization of the loan. Despite multiple attempts to inspect the banker's books for evidence of the alleged loans, the court has allegedly ignored these requests.

Instead, the High Court is accused of relying on technicalities to bar WS MP Electronics and New Master Electronics from presenting their case, facilitating dfcu Bank to unlawfully transfer or sell the contested properties.

The complainants state that the trial judge, His Lordship Justice Hon. Stephen Mubiru, appears to be biased in favor of the bank, denying the clients a fair hearing.

They express concerns over the unprecedented nature of a court readily condemning a litigant to lose prime properties over a disputed loan without a proper investigation.

The legal representatives are urgently calling for the intervention of Principal Judge Flavian Zeija, asking him to examine the case file and ensure a fair inter partes hearing before another judge. They have attached a copy of the last ruling (HCMA 510 of 2023) and a bank application for vacant possession for the judge's reference
