Chandiru praised Cindy’s vocal abilities, her attire, and crowd engagement, which she believes edged her opponent in most aspects.

Every artist makes mistakes even, if you rehearse 100 times you will get to the stage and make a mistake,” she said.

For instance one dressed according to their kind of engagement and the other like a real artist and a married woman,” remarked Chandiru while giving her assessment of the battle.

Although she did not physically attend the Kololo concert because she had a show of her own, she was able to determine from the footage that Sheebah Karungi struggled especially with her vocals and managing her crowd.

In this, she said, Cindy had a bigger advantage because of her training and experience from Blu*3.

We went through training and learned all these things; that when you appear on stage, yes, you are well dressed and the crowd is happy to see you, but how are you going to keep that engagement?

At this point, it doesn't matter how you dress, it is all about how to keep your audience.

Live performance is very different from a studio. In studio you can make a hit, anyone can do that… but the moment they hand you that mic on stage and you have all that sound around you; it is now about balancing your voice, maintaining the key, listening to yourself, there is so much going down."

Chandiru also had some advice to Sheebah and other artists about on-stage performance.

With that kind of stage, you don't want to come to prove anything. Just come to be you every time you are yourself, you will get the results. Don't push yourself too hard,” she said.
