Cool wrote on X: "Deeply saddened by the passing of my friend, Mzee Tamale Mirundi Snr. It's a big loss for the country. His unique commentary and style of articulation of political, social issues was unmatched, and will be irreplaceable. He'll be deeply and dearly missed. Sending my utmost sympathies to his family, NRM, PLU and all Ugandans."

Kasuku posted: "Guys Wats this am hearing Eeeeeeeh My guy Mirundi senior is gone Eeeeeeeh eeeeeh eeeh"
