Watch: Messi missing as Mbappe, Neymar and Hakimi spotted at Wizkid's Paris concert

The Paris St Germain trio were not going to miss Wizkid's MIL Paris concert at the Accor Arena just 48 hours before their crunch clash with Lyon.

The Ligue 1 champions have enjoyed a great start to the new season, having picked up 19 points from their opening 7 league matches scoring 25 goals and conceding just 4 in the process.

Paris St Germain will travel to the Groupama Stadium to face long-time rivals Olympique Lyon on Sunday night, September 18, 2022.

However, prior to the match tomorrow, some PSG stars took time out to relax by attending a highly-anticipated concert in the city.

Afrobeats superstar Wizkid stormed Paris as part of his stops in his ongoing Made In Lagos tour.

The trio were spotted at the event on Friday after a video surfaced on social media with Mbappe looking in high spirits as Wizkid performed 'True Love' - the ninth song of his iconic 2020 project - Made In Lagos.

It's no secret that Hakimi himself is also a fan of Afrobeat and Wizkid, with the Moroccan winger having showed off some of his playlist songs earlier this year.

Burna Boy's Ballon d'Or jam on which he featured Wizkid was particularly a song Hakimi seemed to enjoy listening to as Afrobeat continues to break new ground on a global scale.

Neymar also is a serious fan of Afrobeats and has once been spotted vibing passionately to South African musician Master KG's smash hit 'Jerusalema'.

However, Leo Messi was missing from the squad that attended the concert. The 35-year-old Argentine maestro hasn't always been famous for attending concerts and shows during the active season and it's no surprise why he was nowhere to be found on the night.

Messi is enjoying a very bright start to this season's campaign having already scored 3 goals and created a further 7 assists for the champions in Ligue 1.
