Kabuura reportedly fell out with the Serena Hotel based station earlier this month over alleged money issues.
Kabuura’s exit gifts Patrick Kanyomozi NTV sports show job
Patrick Kanyomozi, the Uganda Sports Press Association president has replaced Andrew Kabuura at NTV.
He, then negotiated a deal with his previous employer’s direct competitors NBS who welcomed him.
According to reports, Kabuura has since forced NTV to ditch the entire ‘NTV PressBox’ show over alleged copyright. He allegedly owns not only the PressBox name but also the content which he legally registered as his property.
In response, NTV has brought on board Patrick Kanyomozi, a radio personality with its sister station KFM. Kanyomozi has previously worked as a sports analyst at UBC TV and Kwese TV.
He will be joined by seasoned sports journalists Ismael Dhakaba Kigongo, and Andrew Mwanguhya.
