Visitors Paradou AC scored two goals in stoppage time earning them a 2-0 win in a dramatic game played at Stade du 20 Août 1955.
Allan Okello’s Paradou in five consecutive wins
Ugandan Midfielder Allan Okello and his club Paradou AC yesterday extended their brilliant run in the Algeria League 1 following a victory over NA Hussein Dey.
Scoring the first goal was Ahmed Nadir Benbouali at the 90th minute giving Paradou AC the lead before Zerroug Boucif adding the other goal in the 6th minute of extra time.
The win lifted Paradou up to second place on the table with 21 points in 8 games also extending their consecutive wins to five games.
Paradou AC now sits three points behind League leaders CR Belouizdad who have played three games more.
The only loss for Paradou this season came against CR Belouizdad with a 3-1 home loss in 2021.
Paradou AC returns to action this January Friday 7th 2022 at home facing 16th positioned RC Arbaâ on the table of 18 teams.
Allan Okello is a Ugandan footballer who plays for Paradou AC in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 and the Uganda national team as an attacking midfielder. He was the Federation of Uganda Football Association’s Airtel Footballer of the Year in 2019.
