Shaban to lead KCCA FC attack against Onduparaka
KCCA FC forward Mohammed Shaban will lead the attack against his boyhood club, Onduparaka FC on Friday.
A tinkering Morley Byekwaso has been exercising his options in the offensive but confirmed that Shaban will be expected to lead the attack against his former club.
“We expect him (Shaban) to start against Onduparaka which is his former team and once he gets enough minutes within his legs I am confident he is going to help us a lot.”
“Shaban has struggled with an injury recently but he has now recovered and he had a good performance when he came on against Gaddafi Modern FC on Tuesday”.
He defended his rotational style noting that the fixtures are ‘congested’ and players are faced with the fatigue and exhaustion.
“Heavy legs were evident against Gaddafi, especially amongst the players who played many minutes against SC Villa.”
“The likes of Moses Waiswa, Brian Aheebwa, Rogers Mato, and Allan Okello all showed signs of exhaustion.”
“But we are in the same situation just like the other teams so let’s continue trying our best because we have to win games and climb up the table”.
Onduparaka FC has just won one match this season while KCCA FC has won three matches in a row.
