England see off Senegal in 3-0 statement win to set up France quarterfinal clash

Senegal were no match for England who comfortably defeated the Lions of Teranga.

In a rather lacklustre performance, Senegal were a shadow of themselves and failed to rise to the occasion.

Henderson, Harry Kane and Saka found the back of the net to see off Senegal in a statement win.

Senegal started off brilliantly with Sarr making an early attempt forcing Pickford to a save.

However, in a blink of an eye, England opened the scoring as Bellingham broke forward and pulled it for Henderson who fired past Mendy.

Yet again, Bellingham broke forward before playing in Foden. He assisted Kane who fired in England's second goal.

Phil Foden would lay a perfect lowball for Saka who chipped past Mendy setting up a quarterfinal against France.
