Baptism of fire as Steven Bogere starts Onduparaka duty against Vipers SC
Hired to salvage Onduparaka FC’s disastrous start to the new season, newly appointed head coach Steven Bogere will lead his charges against title holders Vipers SC fresh from a shock defeat last weekend.
Onduparaka have failed to register a win in 10 matches and sit rock bottom with just two points in 10 matches.
Facing the risk of relegation, Onduparaka hope to upset Vipers at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
However, the odds are stacked against the Arua city-based club.
The Uganda Premier League title holders Vipers SC are hoping to take on the summit of the league. The Venoms are three points off the summit and will take lead if they win against Onduparaka FC.
Onduparaka’s last win against Vipers came in their first season in the division and have since lost seven games to the Kitende based side in the process.
