Going into the second leg against Booma FC, the Jinja side already had a foot in the final with a massive 5-1 first leg away victory in Masindi. They only needed to avoid defeat at home to set a date with league champions SC Vipers in the Uganda Cup finals. And they did just that!

An early goal by Karim Ndugwa in the 10th minute of the first half was enough for BUL FC to fall back and frustrate Booma FC till the final whistle.

The Uganda Cup final will be played across the weekend of June 10-12 in Masindi.
The Uganda Cup is the second most prestigious competition in Uganda football.
The winner of the Uganda Cup represents Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
