Cheptegei, Kiplimo skip national cross-country championships
Uganda athletics crème Joshua Cheptegei and Jacob Kiplimo, the gold and silver medalists at the World Cross-Country Championships skipped the national cross-country championships, a precursor qualification event for the world championships.
Cheptegei is the reigning champion having won gold in Aarhus in 2019 while Kiplimo bagged silver medal.
