This time, the Opposition Liberal Democrats cancelled out a 23,000 Tory majority in a North Shropshire by-election victory against Johnson’s party.
The woes of Prime Minister Boris Johnson continue
Apart from suffering a major revolt from 99 of his parliamentary party members just days ago, Tory leader and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on the ropes again.

In what is being considered a major upset on the scale of Norwich City defeating Manchester City ten goals to zero, Helen Morgan was elected the Liberal Democrats party's 13th MP with a majority of almost 6,000.
This doesn’t look good for an already beleaguered Prime Minister Johnson and shaken up an already divided Conservatives party, also known as the Tories.
Mr. Johnson is still reeling from a revolt from the backbenchers of his after he announced his Plan B, which involves new Covid-19 measures and accusations about how Ten Downing Street, the Prime Minister’s official residence, transgressed Covid-19 regulations by holding get-togethers which disregarded the same.
North Shropshire was previously a safe seat for Tory MPs and seemed like a constituency that Johnson’s party just could not lose. It was considered as Tory as Matooke is Ugandan.
But the Tories lost it like a mind in a mental asylum, the margin of the loss was so crazy that it is one of the largest by-election swings (34 per cent) in British electoral history.
This morning's upset suggests that the Prime Minister is more unpopular than ever, and his unpopularity is threatening to bring down the party along with his declining fortunes.
In her victory speech Ms Morgan, who won by a majority of 5,925, accused Mr. Johnson of being 'unfit to lead', adding: 'Tonight, the people of North Shropshire have spoken on behalf of the British people.’
'They have said loudly and clearly: ''Boris Johnson, the party is over''.
'Your government, run on lies and bluster, will be held accountable. It will be scrutinised, it will be challenged and it can and will be defeated.'
