“Crash Landing On You” is a television love story in which a high-flying South Korean heiress accidentally paraglides into North Korea, lands on a soldier and falls in love with him.
This serendipity, or unplanned good fortune, has inspired many with one viewer describing the television drama series as a masterpiece.
“This is simply the most thoroughly enjoyable series I have seen on TV for years in any language. The comedy, the romance and the drama are all successfully blended. Love the ongoing comedy about the differences between North and South Korea - all freshly done and spot on,” said a fan.

Much of this hugely popular TV show is filmed in Switzerland and this has led many fans to travel to spots where it was filmed during this festive period.
The location’s sentimental value is largely centered on the landing pier, where the heiress literally landed on the love of her life.
On this pier, people queue to take photos, film videos and some even bring drones to make sure they've got the perfect shot.
"Crash Landing on You is a beautiful story of two people coming from very opposing worlds and falling in love despite their differences. I found this story very heart-warming and inspiring," said Yanina Seifermann, a German who visited the location this Christmas.
"It was so amazing. I instantly felt transported back to the scenes of the K-drama and felt more connected to the characters," she added, with the sparkle that makes this festive season so special.
