“Italy is one of the countries that Gen Museveni has hoodwinked, we want to cut all life support of his dictatorship so that at the end of the day, the whole world is stopped from dealing with Museveni because dealing with Museveni means being a partner in crime,” he said.
In echo of an ancient proverb which states that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", Kyagulanyi said he will unite with any forces whose aim is to remove Museveni from power.
He explained that anybody who is contributing to the fall of President Museveni is a friend to his struggle and to Ugandans but those who are assisting Museveni extend his tenure in power are enemies of the people and must be resisted.
On the skyrocketing fuel crisis, Kyagulanyi alleged that Museveni failed to build any reserves and just sat back to watch the situation deteriorate to its current state.
“Our nation is in crisis because the common person is suffering, all of you have noted boda bodas being blocked from the city and blocked from businesses, the hawkers were humiliated by the military because they believe the city has to belong to the few,” he said.
Kyagulanyi added that the battle to remove Museveni is not something that should be taken lightly and so it requires all serious-minded patriots to brave the struggle.
