Six arrested over soldier’s murder
Police in Oyam district has arrested six suspects believed to be linked to the murder of security personnel, Vincent Olanya.

His body was recovered in a swamp at Onea village, Kamdini sub-county in Oyam district something that raised alarm among the residents in the area.

In 2020, four police officers were attacked by machete-wielding imbalu dancers in Manafwa district in eastern Uganda. Imbalu is a cultural ritual dance performed by the Bamasaba during the circumcision ceremony.
