Nsereko made the remarks while appearing on a local television show in retaliation to Bobi Wine's comment on the amendments to the Computer Misuse Act that the former is advocating for.
Bobi Wine should debate with fellow MDD graduates - MP Nsereko
Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko has urged musician cum politician and leader of National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to withhold his comments on certain things, especially those beyond his expertise and intellect.

According to Bobi Wine, the amendments are a way for government to infringe on free speech in the country. Moreover, he said that the legislator would be the first victim of the law he is spearheading because he is an "intelligent idiot".
When asked to comment on Bobi Wine's claims, Nsereko said that the NUP leader is out of his league in discussing anything to do with law, and advised him to take up a debate with people in his intellectual league, citing former Rubaga South legislator Kato Lubwama.
“I have heard Bobi Wine’s argument but this is an issue concerning law. In boxing, everyone is given his weight. I think we should give him Kato Lubwama to discuss that matter. On this issue the right person he can debate with is Kato Lubwama. I am not going to reply to him but the right person he can debate with is Kato Lubwama,” he said.
Nsereko continued his onslaught on both former legislators saying that the time he spent with them in the House convinced him that they are at the same intellectual level and (together) would be able to iron out any misunderstandings about the law.
“I was with both of them in Parliament (Kato Lubwama and Kyagulanyi). They should be given a debate [platform] and discuss the matter and I hope they will have a meaningful debate," he added.
In addition, he said that Bobi Wine is blindly attacking, thereby making it a personal issue when it is the legislature and constitution that have the final word.
"This is a law that was adopted by Parliament and passed by Parliament. The law went through the process. Is he challenging the process of the law? Is he challenging the law? Was it his first time to hear of the law?” he queried.
Nsereko says that the amendments will reinforce privacy protection, especially for children, and hold accountable individuals who publish content on social media with ill intent or otherwise.
