How to tell when a shy guy likes you

Shy guys have game. It's just that you take their breath away so much that you leave them helpless.

While most guys don't have a problem telling a lady that they like her, there are some dudes that are too shy to do it. To note also is that there are times when even a sharp shooter will meet a girl so enchanting that shyness will take over his life, so much so that he will be tongue-tied in her presence.

And ladies, here is the thing: silence doesn't always mean lack of game. Don't lose a chance of dating a great guy because he's 'not confident enough'. Sometimes it isn't a lack of confidence but simply the overpowering aura of your sexiness upon him. Sometimes you take his breath away so much he can't bring himself to imagine you saying no after he has told you his feelings about you. So he waits and waits.

Here is how to tell that a shy guy likes you:

He may do his best to not reveal too much, but it’s hard to disguise your initial reaction to someone. If he lights up whenever you walk in the room, it’s a very good sign that he’s interested in your romantically. If you notice that he doesn’t tend to do the same thing with other people, take the hint.

You can tell that the new dude in finance likes you if he tends to shut up when you show up. If he’s even slightly more talkative with other people but he clams up around you specifically, it’s a sign that he’s into you. The awkwardness is a reaction to you.

If he looks off in the distance when some people talk, but looks at you and nods along when you speak up, he’s probably interested. Shy people tend to be very good listeners to compensate for their quietness. A shy guy can come off like he doesn’t really have a lot to say if he’s into you, but he’ll have no problem paying close attention to you.

If he trips at the stairs, or tries to be cool around you, he probably likes you. If you are out camping and he keeps pulling blades of grass and eating them... haha. Shy guys may be quiet around other people but they mostly get awkward when a girl they like shows up. They want to impress you by how well they nibble at the grass, but they don't know how. Have pity on them.

A shy guy usually believes he has no cool stories to tell, and to compensate for lack of stories, he may want to ask endless questions about you. If a guy tends to pepper you with questions, it means that he’s interested in you. This is a sign that he wants to keep a good conversation going.

The power of women to make guys uncomfortable a mystery of life. When we fall head over heels for a girl, we just don't know how to behave. The pent-up sexual energy (because shy guys don't get laid) and your presence are just unbearable. He may shake his knee up and down while seated or move around a lot. This is a natural reaction people have when they’re not calm.

Just to be around, a shy guy will volunteer to do things for you to compansate for his lack of words. If he’s jumping at every opportunity to help you out, he’s super into you. But even if he hasn’t volunteered, a shy guy with a crush will jump at the opportunity to make you happy if you ask him, especially if it means they get to hang out around you. Try asking for a tiny favor and see what he does.

If this guy doesn't say much in person but gets a lot better at conversation when you text them or chat over social media, it’s a big sign that they’re into you. You may even notice little gaps between messages. If they don’t reply right away and they take 15-60 seconds to think through their response, it means they really care what you think.

A good memory is a sign that he thinks about you often. If he ever remembers your favorite candy bar, or he brings you coffee in the morning just the way you like it, it reflects two things. First, it means they pay very close attention to you when you speak. Second, it means that you’re on their mind.
