But even as you try to get the necessary nutrients from this drink, you need to drink it in moderation. This is because milk has been linked to some health issues.
For instance, some studies have linked to prostate cancer. This study found that diets that are high in calcium such as milk increased the risk of prostate cancer.
While drinking milk is supposed to make your bones stronger, some research shows that drinking too much of it may on the contrary lead to bone fractures. Since you are getting calcium from other sources as well, you don’t have to drink too much of it. This particular study found 61 433 women and 45 339 men.
The researchers found that 17 252 women had a fracture 4259 of which had hip fractures. 5379 men also had fractures. According to the study, people who consumed more than three glasses of milk had higher chances of having fractures. Then study also found that men who drank excess milk had a higher risk of death. The deaths were associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases.
And that’s not all, milk consumption has also been linked to can and other skin conditions such as eczema. A study of dairy consumption of dairy among teenagers found a link between consuming low-fat milk with acne.
