These awards are one of the only standing annual fashion show awards that happen in the country and they have been in existence for over a decade.
The ASFAs are coming back!
Abryanz has finally announced the dates for this year’s edition of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards [ASFA s].

We’ve missed them over the past two years when the country was on total lock down.
The ASFA’s last happened in December 2019 before the country was hit by the pandemic.
ASFA’s are considered one of Africa’s biggest red carpet event, happening under different themes every year.

This year’s edition of the awards will be happening on December 15th 2022 and this time around it will be a weekday and a Thursday according to Abryanz.
“This year most talked about moments will happen this December, the 2022 ASFAS. Thursday 15th December 2022,” said Abryanz.
The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, are taken as one of the most continental fashion awards presented annually in recognition to excellence and outstanding achievement in the fashion industry in Uganda and the whole of Africa.
The awards also celebrate and acknowledge different stakeholders in the African fashion industry.
The Fashion awards were established back in 2013 with a focus on Ugandan fashion and later there were more categories to cater for the whole of Africa in 2016.
