Kanye West's mud-filled fashion show a big, muddy success

Ye, as he is also called, rolled out his newest fashion trend as a gaggle of models walked the Paris runway in outfits covered in mud. Many have billed this muddy dress an acquired taste, deep in the City of Lights (which Paris is also known as).

Kim Kardashian, who is Kanye’s Ex, chose to not show up, but all four of the ex-couple’s kids were there to witness the spectacle.

In a surprise move, Kanye’s in-laws Khloe Kardashian and Kyle Janner were also there to see the mud getups. They were not alone as other stars including Offset, Naomi Campbell and Salma Hayek were present and enjoying themselves.

Kanye opened the show which he titled: Balenciaga's Apocalyptic, Mud-Filled SS23.

The creative director for Balenciaga, Demma, said the mud dress is "a metaphor for digging for truth and being down to earth."

Kanye, when the show was done, proudly walked down the runway wearing leather pants, a security jacket, a baseball cap and a hood. All the while, he was turned out in mud.

Demna further, "Let us let everyone be anyone and make love not war."

Bella Hadid also walked the runway. Her face was made to look bruised and beaten as she walked down the runway with a baby carrier strapped to her body. Yes, she was also covered in mud.

Khloe, Kylie and North (Kanye’s child) were seen together backstage. While Christine Quinn and Alexa Demie were on the sidelines of the show, seemingly enjoy every bit of it.
