French fashion designer Thierry Mugler dies

At the age of 73, he has worked with stars like Cardi B, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Kate Moss.

Mugler had gone into retirement but came back in 2019 to make Kim Kardashian's iconic "wet look" for the annual Met Gala as well as her "CowBot Girl" Halloween costume last year.

Besides the fashion side of him, Mr Mugler has also been famous because of his perfumes like Angel, Alien, and Angel Nova.

The news of his death was confirmed through a post on his official Instagram and Facebook page.

"RIP we are devastated to announce the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler on Sunday January 23rd, 2022. May his soul rest in peace," a post said.

"It is with deep sadness that the House of Mugler announces the passing of Mr Manfred Thierry Mugler,” read a post on his official Instagram page.

Kourtney Kardashian also posted a picture on her Instagram story showing her famous family all dressed in Mugler's designs after his death announcement.

Musician Diana Ross also posted a picture of her alongside the designer accompanied with a caption, "I will miss you Thierry Mugler this was a wonderful time in our lives."
