Barcelona's foreman Robert Lewandowki and team mates had two F-16 fighter jets as they traveled to Qatar. However, the escort was more for the safety of the team than for bragging rights. A few days prior to their flight, a Polish town near the border with Ukraine had been hit by a missile truck.

The jets did not leave their side until they were out of Polish airspace.

The Ghanaian national team arrived in Qatar in ensembles of local wear adorned with scarfs displaying the country's national flag.

The Serbia team looked like a "who's the real James Bond" in navy blue suits, white shirts and sneakers. If they don't take it home, at least they can blend in well with the World Cup officials.

French team stars Karim Benzema and Killian Mbappe seemed in a hurry to leave their uber driver in the drive way inside his 'doodle car'. They arrived at their training facility before flying out to Qatar.

The rest of the French team understood the assignment and brought that French supermodel flair. Can I have a jacket from one of them?

One thing is for sure, the Spain national team will have the best rest whether they win or not, will be sleeping at their training base at Qatar University. Or is it a tactic to make everyone else lose sleep imagining what it feels like to be them?
