Video: When Gravity made fun of Zuena's song 'Owa Boda'

Zuena Kirema has a love song titled Owa Boda. Its audio was produced by Rinex and the video was directed by Kim XP.

One day she went on TV to defend her husband, Bebe Cool, who was having some issues with singer Gravity Omutujju over a song he collaborated on with Cool that was never released.

"I sang a song with Bebe Cool called Kere Kere. He sidelined it until we gave up. Everything disappeared," Omutujju said of the incident.

During an interview with Spark TV, Kirema claimed that Omutujju refused to release the said song because Cool supports the ruling government and he [Gravity Omutujju] didn't want backlash from the opposition.

Her comments seem to tally with what Omutujju recently said when he was asked why he didn't invite Cool to perform at his concert held on October 1.

“I intentionally refused to call Bebe Cool, I didn't even bother him; I left him because… you may announce him as a performer and people refuse to come,” Omutujju said, adding that he is not his fan.

“To be honest, I'm not Bebe Cool's fan, but I know his music, like Kaseepiki, Wire Wire, which other one, the one he sang from a desert, Love You Everyday."

When Omutujju learnt about Kirema's comments, he said: "Make your cakes, romance your man, but leave industry issues alone. You know nothing about them. Just because you tried singing [mimicks her singing her song titled Owa Boda] and failed. So, madam, us who have been able to sing well-received music, and your husband tried to elbow out one of them, don't judge. Don't come out to say that he wishes well for others, he only wishes well for you, when you are in bed together."

In Owa Boda, Kirema sings: "Time has passed and I'm here waiting. My heart is spinning and I'm not sure you will arrive. Now that I've seen you, come closer and I show you. The love I've brought you, all along I've always waited for you. Owa Boda... I need a favour... I'm confused... I love the way you make me high... Come and ask me, and I give you everything... Come and take my heart and keep it. I've given it to you. Calm it down..."

The song is in Luganda, with a few English words.
