The Uganda senior netball team flew to New Zealand at the end of October for the Fast5 World Series.

The She Cranes team stunned netball fans as they danced to Grenade Official's latest hit single Babandana before their outstanding game against Jamaica.

In a one-minute video posted on the She Cranes Twitter account, the netball players are seen pulling swift dance moves, as the cheering grows with every new stroke.
She Cranes has so far played two games, one where they defeated Jamaica 33-22 and another where they lost to New Zealand, the host, 33-22.
Margaret Baagala was voted the best player of the match in their game against Jamaica.
For starters, Fast5 Netball World Series is an international Fast5 netball competition that was contested for the first time in October 2009.
The new competition features modified Fast5 rules and has been likened to Twenty20 cricket and rugby sevens.
The game features dynamic rules changes including five players a side, shorter quarters, power plays, and super shots.
It is Uganda’s first invite to the Fast5 World Series and the tournament features top teams from Australia, England, Fiji, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Samoa, and South Africa.
Uganda has positioned itself as a top netball nation following its massive performance at the Commonwealth Games where the team emerged as Africa’s number one. The She Cranes defeated South Africa, rated number one on the continent.
The performance also earned the Cranes another invitation back to the United Kingdom where they participated in the international test series facing top sides.
The She Cranes squad is made up of Peace Proscovia, Mary Nuba Cholk, Shadia Nassanga, Margret Baagala, Norah Lunkuse, Christine Namuyomba Kango, Hanisha Muhammed, Irene Eyaru, Joan Nampungu, Sandra Ruth Nambirige, and Faridah Kadondi.
