Cindy Sanyu, Lady Kola collabo wins award

Self-proclaimed “King herself”, Cindy Sanyu’s collabo with Lady Kola titled “Muhaba” was voted the Best International Collaboration at the just concluded South Sudan Music Awards making the dancehall artiste’s year one of her greatest.

A few weeks ago, Cindy officially became Mrs. Okuyo after walking down the aisle with movie director and actor, Prynce Joel Atiko Okuyo.

The expecting mother, Cindy Sanyu, is currently the Uganda Musicians Association President, who gave music a small break to first concentrate on her motherhood and new marriage though her already released singles are winning her big awards.

Cindy’s collaboration with South Sudanese songstress Lady Kola was awarded as the best International Collaboration at the South Sudan Music Awards 2021. “ Mahaba” which was released late June this year got the most votes in that category to win the award. The news was shared through Cindy and Lady Kola’s official social media platforms.

“First and foremost, I wanna thank my fans for supporting me back-to-back, the DJ’s for playing my songs and all the media houses. Not forgetting our amazing presenters around South Sudan and outside the world. Lastly, I am so grateful to SSMA for the great work and recognizing us as South Sudanese musicians once again. Thank you so much.” Lady Kola posted on her social media.
