Lubwama's list includes all musicians under Afrigo Band, Mesach Semakula, King Saha, Rema Namakula, Sheebah Karungi, Geoffrey Lutaaya, Juliana Kanyomozi, Iryn Namubiru, Mariam Ndagire, Winnie Nwagi, Madox Ssemanda Sematimba, and Azawi.

He said the top big four are Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, and Bob Wine.

He, however, had reservations about Wine.

"Bobi Wine is not really part of it... because these days he has no song worth mentioning. Even the songs he recently sang to get sympathy from people are also bad. But for the sake of his supporters from NUP (National Unity Platform), let's include him so they don't feel bad," he said while speaking to Spark TV.

Lubwama, who is also a songwriter, said Kenzo doesn't have a great voice, but he is good at marketing himself.

"Kenzo is no longer working for Ugandans. Kenzo works for the whole world. Kenzo is good at marketing himself, I will give him that credit. He doesn't have the best voice, but he knows when to use it," Lubwama said.

"You can't compare my voice to his. I'm a vocal trainer. I know how to tell a good from a bad voice... He focuses more on the beats and less on the words."

On Kenzo crying during a press conference on Monday, Lubwama said: "A star doesn't cry. How can a celebrity cry? When you cry, you let us down, we your fans. He has discovered that Ugandans like those who cry. Why would I, Kato Lubwama, cry?"

According to Lubwama, of all the musicians, Sematimba "is the best at singing."

On Spice Diana, he said: "Spice has some issues. She needs a director. When you listen to her music, then see her performing on stage and what she does there, you remove her from the" group of best musicians.

On Nwagi, he said: "She is a good musician. She has the voice."

On Azawi: "It's you TV people that have blown her up, but she is good. She sings well."

Kato Lubwama has been in Uganda’s entertainment industry for over three decades.
