Levixone postpones “Mbeera Genesis” concert to November 2022

Uganda gospel singer Lucas Lubyogo, popularly known as Levixone, has rescheduled his concert "Mbeera Genesis" from September 3 to November 26, 2022.

The singer did not offer an explanation for the change only saying that "unforeseen circumstances" have interrupted the earlier date, but the venue stays the same. The much anticipated gospel concert is happening at the Kololo Airstrip two months later than he had scheduled.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused my good people. MBEERA THE GENESIS CONCERT is to take place on the 26th NOVEMBER 2022 AT KOLOLO AIRSTRIP. but we believe all things work together for the good of those who love THE Lord Romans 8:28,” Levixone wrote on his social media.

He also made the announcement during a fellowship with Phaneroo ministries.

Levixone also appeared on a local TV station to share his story and experience in Kosovo, where he was raised. After surmounting enormous debts that almost cost him his life and family, he says that church was is his turning point.

"May be on 3rd/September you will know my LIFE/STORY … But God has really loved me that’s why he sent his only begotten son JESUS CHRIST to die for my sins , AND get to know you my beautiful people who LOVE and support me everyday . #AmTellingMyStory #mbeeraGenesisConcert #KololoAirStrip," his initial post about the concert says.

Although the date has changed, the singer has promised that everything else stays the same come performance time.

Singer Edrisa Musuuza, popularly known as Eddy Kenzo, is also gearing up for the Eddy Kenzo festival which will be happening at the Kololo Airstrip on November 12th.

The festival is going to feature different artists from around the country and is highly anticipated by fellow artists. Some artists are looking forward to performing at a festival being held in the name of a living artist.
