The “Peru” hit superstar is arriving in the country in the early hours of Friday to prepare for the show. This is the Nigerian artist’s first time in the country since the start of his career, but his songs precede him having dominated the internet, Kampala night life and the urban youth phone playlists.

Guinness Uganda’s Brand Manager Elizabeth Mutamuliza commented on the relevance of the bar storms in the brand’s efforts to bring tickets closer to consumers.

These storms are important because they are not only a build-up towards the show, they are also a way for us to give back to our consumers by giving them an opportunity to attend what I believe is the most anticipated show in the country,” said Elizabeth Mutamuliza.

The evening kicked off with entertainment from musician Lydia Jazmine. Dancer and celebrated choreographer Mathew Nandala and his group of dancers hypnotized the crowd with moves to FireBoy’s tunes from his ample catalog. In probably one of the most impressive and entertaining concert promotions, the show organizers provided the audience with a preview of what the main event will be. This move got attendees psyched as they purchased tickets while the lucky ones simply won.

These bar storms are happening all week in preparation for the most awaited show of the year which draws close very fast.

Guinness’ ‘Black Shines Brightest’ campaign kicked off last year to celebrate the supreme black liquid enjoyment that currently dominates the youth taste buds across the continent. This effort celebrates the stars which shine under the beer’s bold black stout richness, creative and animated individuals with dazzling talent, potential and unfailing optimism who define this generation.

In true spirit of the movement, the brand is connecting the Ugandan youth with Nigeria’s star FireBoy to interact under the innovative 263 year old Irish brand.
