Fik Fameica's 2022 concert date and venue released

The rapper has announced through his social media that he will be holding his concert at the Hotel Africana come August. The announcement has not included any more details about the concert and the anticipation is on.

It appears to have moved on from the last concert he organised which flopped and left his confidence battered. On 14th December 2018, Fik Fameica held his very first concert titled "My Journey" at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds but the turn up was disappointing which left the artist in low spirits and stage fright.

However, after some encouragement from fellow artists telling him to pick himself up because his journey was just starting, he delivered a performance that left those who didn't attend looking forward to the next.

The poor turn up was linked to wrong timing combined with wrong charges and venue. Notably, Purple Party CEO Douglas Lwanga offered criticism on these three factors while consoling the rapper. Douglas cited the fault in organisation saying that a big percentage of his fans were still in school and the rest couldn't afford anything beyond 10,000 shillings for a ticket.

Four years later, in the first year after the 2 year lockdown, "Fresh Bwoy" is ready to face the stage again in his own concert. The artist announced on his Instagram that he will be taking over Hotel Africana on 26th August this year, almost three months away.

More details have not yet been revealed.

A few days ago, the "Born to win" artist was performing on the Capital FM national Tour concert in Fortal Portal alongside singers Sheebah and Bebe Cool among others.

The tour is a celebration of the radio station's successful reign in the industry for over 30 years. Together with Club Pilsner, Capital FM Uganda lined up artists to perform at the Buhinga stadium where locals turned up in huge numbers. Travelling with the singers were the radio station presenters, comedians, DJs and Emcees.

Fameica was also part of Guinness's "Black Shines Brightest" concert last month which was headlined by Nigerian artist Fireboy. Fameica made and appearance and had the crowd dancing to his newest track "Kanzunzu" plus some of his old songs.
