- Annual celebration of Bunyoro culture at Kwegonza Avenue
The annual event powered by Pilsner Lager brought together folk from the western Bunyoro sub-region for an immersive cultural experience.
One of the highlights of the festival held at the UMA showgrounds in Lugogo was the Pilsner Lager Cultural Village which was designed to showcase the rich traditions and customs of the Bunyoro and Tooro communities.
The village offered a variety of engaging activities as visitors were able to enjoy traditional music and dance performances and try their hand at local crafts as they took photos. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the sounds of drumming, singing, and laughter
According to Edgar Kihumuro the Pilsner Lager Brand Manager, Pilsner Lager is honoured to be part of the Kwegoza Avenue, celebrating the rich heritage of the Bunyoro and Tooro cultures.
"Our cultural village was designed to bring people together, allowing them to experience and appreciate the traditions that make our country unique. We are committed to supporting and preserving Uganda's cultural legacy through events like this." He stated.
