The album opens with a creative introduction voiced by Trouble Merci who paves the way for a heart throbbing banger in Senorita. Lukas Blacc unleashes a fusion of rap and dancehall which seamlessly transition into the melodic vibes of ‘How Far’ ft Akeine and finally into the album’s lead single 'Ebyange' ft Kohen Jaycee.
On this sweet tune Lukas enlists the assistance of RnB sensation Kohen Jaycee for a collaboration Romeo and Juliet would die for.
The song harmoniously brings the contrasting styles of Lukas and Kohen into a lyrical agreement for the appreciation of the African woman.
The second half of this genre-buffet kicks off with African reggae dancehall with tracks like 'Midnight Riddim', 'Sasila' ft Jenesis Kimera and 'Tears' ft Gideon Roots all basking in the feel of the tropical serenity of a typical lovers’ night.
Going out in an Afro Swing fusion with RnB melodies, ‘Night Shift’ is a show of poetry skills that grapple with the fact that love is susceptible to entropy.
‘One Thing’ ft Likkle Bangi & Lagum the Rapper showcases Lucas’ rap ability beside industry veteran Lagum, Likkle Bangi calls out the haters in a hook you’ll want to hear all day.
This is an experience of thoughtful, deeply inspired and playful creative efforts for a refreshing ride through different genres.
