Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold is scheduled to party with revelers this weekend July 16, 2022, in a mega concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval that promises to be the gold standard of every massive concert.
Although he is called a "highlife singer" thanks to his music genre, he is popular for his laidback vibe in signature silk shirts, wide-bottom pants and breezy dance moves.
From his perch in Nigeria’s music industry, he has stayed at the top of his game with songs like ‘Orente’ which made him a household name.
Over 7-year successful career, he has consistently struck gold and his recent hits like ‘High’, ‘Sinner’, ‘Okay’, to name but three, continue this winning streak.
This will be the singer's first time in the country, fellow Nigerian artists Tiwa Savage and Kizz Daniel will also be performing in Kampala this month.
Adekunle has been touring the United States of America for his latest Album entitled "Catch Me If You Can". He has had sold-out shows in Dallas, Atlanta, Seattle, among other states.
Born Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, the a 35-year-old Nigerian singer and songwriter came into the limelight after his 2015 hit single ‘Sade’, a cover of One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life’.

Adekunle is happily married to Nigerian songstress Simisola Bolatito, popularly known as Simi, and the two have enjoyed 9 years together with their daughter, Adejare Kosoko.
Adekunle and Simi have combined their musical prowess on projects like 'By You', 'Promise' and 'No Forget'.
