Three Thousand Years of Longing is a fantasy romance, is based on the short story The Djinn in the Nightingale’s Eye by A. S. Byatt. Oscar-winning director George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road) is behind the movie and describes it as the complete opposite of his usual genres.

“When I say it’s the anti-Mad Max, I mean it only in the sense that it’s got way more dialogue than the very laconic Fury Road,” Miller said in an interview.

Aamito is Uganda's most accomplished model after winning Africa's Next Model in 2013. She started pursuing a career in modelling at age 16. She worked with Gloria Wavamunno and designer Adele Dejak before her breakthrough on the international scene.
