The Rings Of Power will be streaming starting on September 2nd 2022 adding to the previous stories of Middle-earth's Second Age, The forging of the rings, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the epic tale of Numenor, and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men.

According to Amazon, “The Rings Of Power” will combine events of Tolkien's second age and the forging of those famous rings. The trailer samples very little information about who exactly is supposed to get the powerful rings.

"This is a title that we imagine could live on the spine of a book next to JRR Tolkien's other classics,” said Showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay
