Could 'John Wick' be the next Batman?

Well, almost.

Sure, we know that John Wick could out-Batman Batman at being Batman, but that is only to John Wick fans. Who, drums please, are in for a treat with Keanu Reeves’s new movie.

It’s called DC League of Super-Pets, where he sort of is Batman.

After voicing the superhero in the film “DC League of Super-Pets,” Reeves says he would be more than interested to play Bruce Wayne in a live-action film.

“I love Batman, as a character. I love him in the comic books, in the films, so to get the opportunity to voice, to play Batman was awesome,” Reeves said at the “Super-Pets” premiere.

The 57-year-old “John Wick” star who turned himself into a superstar after starring in “The Matrix” said he would be more than glad to cruise a Batmobile, in the event that a middle-aged Batman was required.

“But there’s … Pattinson’s got Batman right now and he’s doing awesome, so maybe down the road,” he said.

However, “Batman” alum Christian Bale recently said he would do another Batman if Christopher Nolan were directing it.

This inclusion of possibly the best Batman of them all in the race to be the new Batman could ensure that Reeves falls further down in the Batman pecking order, if there is one.

New Animated film

“I have a small part in this film, a bit of a cameo,” Reeves said in talking about his current animated role as the Dark Knight. “But even that — just to be a part of a project that [Dwayne] Johnson and Kevin Hart are a part of is awesome, and I got to play Batman.”

The new animated movie is about the pets of various superheroes, including Superman and Batman, who have to stop a nefarious plot after the Justice League is captured.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson voices Superman’s buddy, Krypto the Super-Dog, and comedian Kevin Hart plays Batman’s companion Ace, who also has the nickname Bat Hound.

The animated film will be in theaters on July 29, this year.
