Eddy Kenzo fans unimpressed after controversial picture with Hamza

Eddy Kenzo woke up trending at number one on Twitter yet again and it has nothing to do with the Grammys.

Eddy Kenzo and Dr Hamza Sebunya

Eddy Kenzo caused a stir on the internet yesterday after he took a picture with Dr Hamza Sebunya, who is currently married to his ex-lover and baby mummy, Rema Namakula.

In a short caption that accompanied the picture, Kenzo noted that despite his differences with the late Sheikh Muzaata, he was glad they met up and resolved them before his death.

In addition, he notes that he met Dr Sebunya and he could not simply bypass him since God loves peace.

“I am glad we met and greet, stay blessed brother,” he tweeted.

However, despite Kenzo’s innocent gesture, judging by comments, most fans were left with a bitter taste in their mouth.

According to a one Judy Mayanja, Eddy Kenzo’s comparison was out of context and Dr Sebunya has never mentioned anything to do with him.

“The comparison is unnecessary. Muzaata clearly had issues to do with you. Dr has never mentioned anything to do with you! That statement creates an impression you’ve had grudges with Dr which is not true,” she notes.

She further added that Kenzo should simply be happy he met the doctor.

Another user identified as Derek, seemingly unimpressed, said that he should have logged out of twitter earlier in what seemed to be a futile wish not to have seen the tweet.

A one Ricky Kagino mocked Eddy Kenzo’s statement with a Kanye West ‘plastic smile’ meme, noting that while Eddy seemed fine on the outside, he was hurting from deep inside.

In yet another hilarious twist, a one Pliam jested about the power women have over men, noting that Rema Namakula should be gloating over the picture.

Aiden Kaliisa, another tweep asked Eddy Kenzo to choose silence in some situations, deeming it unnecessary for him to be a part of the gesture.

However, despite the overwhelming negativity, some fans seemed to be okay with the gesture.

“Man, Kenzo is such a good guy. I’m starting to feel bad most people get him wrong sometimes but this guy has a good soul,” wrote popular tweep Sentongo Peter.

Eddy Kenzo went through an immense emotional breakdown when his ex-lover Rema Namakula got bestowed to Dr Hamza Sebunya in a widely publicized traditional wedding.

Kenzo got a lot of public sympathy especially from fans and it might be triggering to them, when they see him trying to open up old wounds.
