The singer has allegedly been secretly seeing a city Muslim tycoon identified as Sulman for a while now, but he is apparently ready to make the relationship official. It is not clear if this is a prerequisite for officiating their bond or Nwagi's initiative to show her devotion.

Since her violent break up with singer Joshua Czar'bu back in 2017, Nwagi has been linked with "Yitayo" singer Chozen Blood who she worked on the song with in 2019. However that flame fizzled out mysteriously and it has been quiet in her love life.
